Surya goes to Russia

Surya is now in Russia, shooting for KV Anand's Maatraan, being produced by AGS 

Entertainment. 

Surya left on Thursday (Sep 29) for Moscow from where he will get to various locations 

for the shoot.

The actor, after a hectic audio launch campaign of his AR Murgadoss directed 7am Arivu, 

took off with his unit members. 

He will be there for a three week schedule during which KV Anand and his cameraman 

Soundar Rajan will shoot in different Russian towns and villages.

Maatraan has Kajal Agarwal playing the heroine with Marathi actor Sachin Khedekar doing 

the bad man's role. 

It has music by Harris Jayaraj and will be Surya's summer 2012 release.

Ezham Arivu' Will Be Remake in Hollywood

Straight from the horse's mouth and it was silence everywhere in the area, where the media interaction was hosted. Yeah! It all started when a journalist oppugned A R Murugadoss, 'Like Mementoes to Ghajini, could you let us know your inspiration for 'Ezham Arivu'?' Without a pause, A R Murugadoss stunningly replied, "Maybe, makers of Hollywood film may remake it."

It all happened during the press meet of 'Ezham Arivu' that was held yesterday at Hotel Residency Tower in Chennai. Addressing the media channels, A R Murugadoss and his entire crew didn't miss to sing praises of Red Giant Movies Udhayanidhi Stalin for making it happen. 'No one else would have burned candles at both ends for a newfangled project' started off Murugadoss, who continued adding that it's a shame and disgrace for the entire state of Tamil Nadu for having forgotten a hero – BODHIDHARMAN, who is worshipped as a God in China and Vietnam. He is the Guru of Shaolin Monks and spread Zen across the country. He is a medical scientist and Osho has authored a book on him for more than 300 pages. 'I am sure that the film has already achieved 99% success and the result of 1% is awaited on Diwali' added A R Murugadoss.

Suriya and A R Murugadoss didn't miss to bring the assistant directors into the picture saying 

that they were astonished by their fascinating knowledge about everything under the sun. The

cinematographer Ravi K Chandran in a Tamil movie. 

So get ready for the big Diwali treat of 'Ezham Arivu' on October 26.

Theatres Confirmed for 'Ezham Arivu'

The Diwali fever is all ready on and the film buffs are curiously awaiting the release of big tickets. Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies becomes the first one to unveil the list of theatres. 'Ezham Arivu' starring Suriya and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles, the film is first of its kind in medical thriller and has evoked huge interests among the audiences.

Sathyam (Studio 5), two screens at Escape in Express Avenue, two screens in Inox, Devi, Devi Paradise, Abirami 7 star, Sangam, Roopam, PVR 123, Udhayam, Mini Udhayam, Suriyan, two screens in Kamala, AVM Rajeshwari, I Dream, Raj Saidapet, AGS 1234, AGS at OMR 123, three screens in Rakhi, four screens in Rohini, Sri Brintha Complex, Prarthana, Aradhana, Ganapathyram are the confirmed theatres that will be screening Ezham Arivu' in Chennai.

When asked about the releases for Diwali, Udhayanidhi Stalin said that 'Velayudham' and 'Mayakkam Enna?' will be other releases.
